One-click access to real-time system status and support options.

The new “Life Preserver” menu provides key system information, alerts you when your Mac needs attention, and offers quick access to MacWorks TotalCare support options with just a click (or two).

You can find the icon in your menu bar at the top right, near the clock, Wi-Fi, and Spotlight search icons.

System Overview

A dot will appear in these situations:

• A new macOS update is available (click to update).
• Your storage is nearly full (click for tips to free up space).
• Your Mac needs a restart (for this, go to the Apple menu  > Restart).

Support options

Select 'Share Your Screen' to open or download my screen sharing tool (Splashtop SOS).

Select 'Schedule An Appointment' to book remote or onsite support with our calendar.

Select 'Open A Ticket For Support' to write and email regarding a tech issue or question.
